Tijjani Musa Isa is the 58^th President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), He was born in Hadejia on May 29, 1956. He attended Hadejia Central Primary School from 1963 to 1969 for his primary education. He attended Barewa College Zaria from 1970 to June, 1974. For his Post-Secondary School Education, he attended the following institutions:

• Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria from 1974 to 1978.
• Slough College of Higher Education, England from 1980 to 1981.
• London School of Accountancy, England from 1982 to 1986.
• Emile Woolf College of Accountancy, London from July to December, 1986.

He holds a Bsc. Degree in Accounting from ABU, Zaria. He holds the following professional qualifications:

• Fellow, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) - FCCA
• Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) – FCA
• Fellow, Chartered Institute of Taxation (CITN) – FCIT
• Associate Member, Institute of Directors Nigeria (IOD).

He was elected into Council first in 2009 and subsequently in 2012, 2015 and 2018 respectively. He was the ICAN 58^th President in 2022/2023.

He is in the current presidential year, the Immediate Past President (IPP) and a member of the ICAN Governing Council.

Kenneth Osondu was born in Umuahia, Abia State on the 30th November, 1974.He attended Modern Institute of Commerce Enugu for his Secondary Education. He also attended Accountancy Tutors and Kaduna Business School pursuant to acquiring his professional certificate in Accounting.

He obtained General Certificate of Education (GCE ‘O’ Level) in 1987 and qualified as an Accounting Technician (AAT) in 1995.

In 2007, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN). From 1997 – 1999, he worked with the firm of M/S Lissafi Ile & Co. (Chartered Accountants) as an Audit Senior. From 2000 to January, 2002 he worked with M/S Sada Idris & Co. as an Audit Supervisor. From February, 2002 – date he is the Audit Manager of Tijjani Musa Isa & Co.

Aminu Ibrahim Isma’ila was Born on November 19, 1961 in Zaria, Zaria Local Government of Kaduna State. Graduated from University of Abuja with Bsc Business Administration, holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, Diploma in Banking from Broad

Water College of Banking London and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

Working Experience:-

Working career spanned over a period of Thirty Years starting with Union Bank of Nigeria Plc in 1980 and proceeded to Nigeria Universal Bank in 1988 and Kaduna State Markets Development and Management Company Ltd (May 1999) as the Pioneer Chief Internal Auditor. In December 2003 joined the Department of Banking and Finance, Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Zaria as Lecturer 11 and rose to Lecturer 1 in 2007 and retired in 2021 as a Senior Lecturer. I have attended many courses and held many positions including Special Adviser to the Governor on Islamic and Hajj Matters.

While working in the banking sector, my schedule covers branch banking operations, and other specialize areas such as Loans and Advances, Foreign Exchange, Inspection, Treasury Management, Stock Exchange Services, International Division (Bills and Credit Dept) Cash Management and Debt Recovery.

Additionally, I am also working with Tijjani Musa Isa and Co, (Chartered Accountants) as an Audit Senior and am involved in the auditing, examination and Investigations of many Public and Private Institutions.

I also worked with the Kaduna State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board in 2009 and 2010 and the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) 2011-2019 all as an ad- hoc staff and served in many committees- Enlightenment, Medical Review as Secretary, Ulama as Secretary, National Reception Team, Dispatch, Accommodation, Pilgrims Guide, Turaddadiyya and Jammarah etc.

Saliu Chindo Abdullahi was born in Ilorin, Kwara State on 24th February, 1963. Abdullahi attended Abdulazeez Attah Memorial College, Okene and Bayero University, Kano. Abdullahi obtained GCE ‘O’ Level (1982) B.Sc (Accounting) (1989) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) 2000. He is also a full member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM). He is an Associate (ACA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) Examinations.

Apart from 1992 – 1994 when he was a Hospital Accountant in Borno Medical Clinic, Maiduguri, Abdullahi has been working in accounting firms of Aminu Ibrahim & Co. and Sada Idris & Co. He served (NYSC) in Aminu Ibrahim & Co., - Chartered Accountants. He has over 15 years’ experience in practice.
